Quality and Environmental Policy
On behalf of the entire team at El Ladrón de Agua Hotel and Gar-Anat Hotel de Peregrinos, I would like to express our commitment to providing guests with a differentiated, accessible and personal quality service. Day by day we try to offer a place with sensitivity and peace where you can get in touch with the city, its history and culture. We lead by example, helping to build a culturally richer city which conserves its countryside and the health of its environment.
To meet this goal, we would like to have direct communication with our guests so that we can understand and fulfil their needs. We want to be a link with the city, to promote its attractions, its customs, gastronomy and its cultural and natural heritage.
Therefore, we will support all actions that go towards this objective, focusing on our guests and on the protection of and respect for our cultural and natural environment, starting by reducing direct and indirect pollution caused by the hotel as far as possible, with all hotel staff working to this end.
Our process of quality improvement will be continuous, with a commitment to providing information to all departments of the hotel, with training offered to help staff development.
Our commitment also means full compliance with current environmental legislation and guidelines, preventing and minimising acoustic and atmospheric pollution, as well as waste production, with recycling systems and energy efficiency procedures.
Our policy is available for public scrutiny and will be reviewed annually through internal audits to guarantee the efficiency and suitability of the Management System.
El ladrón de agua hotel has had the Q for tourism quality and UNE EN ISO 14001:2004 certifications since September 2007.
Gar-Anat Hotel de Peregrinos, inaugurated in October 2007, will be applying for Q for tourism quality and UNE EN ISO 14001:2004 certification at the beginning of 2009.
